They are the newest set of Philippine Airlines flight attendants and stewards who graduated just last December 14 at the PAL Learning Center. Well, their story is quite unique as they are known to be the "miracle batch". That's because PAL was only supposed to have 4 new cabin crew batches this 2018. Apparently, they needed more to be based in Cebu, hence, the birth of ICCT1805.
This was indeed our very first time to witness a Philippine Airlines flight purser graduation event and we are more than honored to have been invited. Held last December 10, 2018 at the PAL Learning Center Auditorium, this batch is a set of senior flight attendants who entered the airline in 1990 that are now flight pursers.
Last Friday October 12, a new set of cabin crew took the skies! This is CebGo batch 9! All 23 of them confidentally and emotionally received their much deserved certificates and wings in an intimate Hollywood themed graduation event held at the Cebu Pacific Airline Operations Center. They were trained by MJ and Kish!
July 30 was a day we witnessed two cabin crew graduation ceremonies of two distinct airlines. The second one that day was that of Philippine Airlines batch ICCT1804, the last PAL newly hired batch to graduate this 2018, and 3rd batch to be assigned in Cebu by September. This event was held at the PAL Learning Center and the these for the night was "A Perfect Time". This class was under the guidance of their trainors Purser Maricel "Marsha" Monfort and Pat De Leon.
Last July 30, we were fortunate to be invited to two cabin crew graduation rites beginning with Cebu Pacific batch 148! It has been quite a while since we attended a Cebu Pacific event, last was batch 141 as 142 until 147 were upgrades from CebGo. This was held at the Cebu Pacific headquarters, Domestic Rd. in Pasay. The theme for this batch is "The Greatest Showman" or should we say, "The Greatest Cabin Crew". Their lead trainers were Gracie Periquet and Macky Castillo.
Last July 13. a new set of 29 Philippine Airlines cabin crew received their wings, this is batch ICCT1803, under the supervision and guidance of their trainors-in-charge Ms. Loida Teopaco and Ms. Jona Mangitay. A special Philippine Airlines cabin crew batch received their wings last Friday, June 29, at the PAL Learning Center. This batch may seem like any cabin crew batch that graduates from the PLC but actually they are a special batch. They are the pioneering batch to be domiciled in Cebu, all of them. This is Philippine Airlines ICCT1802 and we are deeply honored to witness their "Havana Stars" themed graduation rites.
The number 100 is one of the most celebrated numbers. We celebrate a company's or a school's or an organization's 100th founding day, also known as its centennial year. We celebrate our grandparent's or great grandparent's 100th birthday with a grand celebration. The Philippines commemorated its 100th year of Independence with a huge nationwide celebration. In PAL Express, we now celebrate the graduation of their 100th cabin crew batch, ICCT100-18!
