Work is not work when you are doing what you love. Regardless of how much hard work you have to put in to achieve a goal in your chosen field, your burning passion and love for what you do overshadow all struggles. If you turn your passion into a career, you are creating a lifestyle you want to live albeit its challenges and setbacks. For some who have more than one passion, like being a flight attendant and a fashion guru, they will do all to make ends meet and to excel in both.
When we think of a flight attendant or cabin crew career, we think right away of the commercial airline industry. Did you know though that the Air Force do also have flight attendants? Since they do have passenger aircraft that flies their military officers, VIPs, government officials, and even the President, there has to be flight attendants to ensure their safety and comfort. Meet Marian Carmelo, a flight attendant of the Philippine Air Force.
Welcome to the newest section of this website called "Profiles", a section where we interview and feature flight attendantrs and stewards. This is where you get to know your cabin crew and who they are. Yes inside an aircraft, they may be those who will greet you, lead you to your seat, ask you to put on your seatbelts, to do safety demos, ask you chicken beef, water, and tea; but there's more to these flight attendants than meets the eye. So meet our very first flight attendant to be featured in this section - Jessica Mai Cairney!
