She is now 80 years old, been flying for 60 years, and she continues to fly. Meet Bette Nash of American Airlines! So yes, she has experienced it all and seen it all. She has seen the change to how flying was when she started at Eastern Airlines in 1957 to how things are today.
Her desire to be a flight attendant was when she first got on an aircraft and from then on, her desire to be a flight attendant never faded. Talk about "once a flight attendant, always is a flight attendant". Well, lesson can we derive here? There are actually plenty like we have to be open to change as the airline industry is evolving, and so much more.
As what Bette said, "I love my people. I know my customers. I know what they want. The airline thinks names are important, but I think people's needs are very important. Everybody wants a little love."
