Cebu Pacific Flight Steward Carries a Passenger's Crying Grandson while Serving Other Passengers at the Same Time
"Kung gusto, may paraan." This saying holds very true for all cabin crew who really do want to extend help to their passengers. Just yesterday, a passenger named Jumaya Guibar posted photos on her Facebook page of a Cebu Pacific flight steward who indeed went out his way to help his passengers and their crying boy. The steward, who we still need to identify, offered his assistance to the grandparent of the crying child by carrying the boy around while serving other passengers at the same time.
According to Guiabar on her Facebook post, this happened aboard a flight from Pagadian to Manila. The boy was with his Grandmother when he started crying as the aircraft took-off and he did not stop even after 30 minutes in the air. The flight steward then approached the boy and carried him first. After the flight steward returned the boy to his grandmother, the latter began crying loud again so the flight steward carried him once again. Even while he was doing his duties to serve other passengers mid flight, he was carrying the boy who seemed so calmed and relaxed with the cabin crew.
Yes it is hard to carry a little boy with one arm while using the other arm to go on with his duties!
Wish we knew who this steward is but if you are reading this now, we salute you for a job well done! You are indeed an asset to Cebu Pacific and the Philippine aviation industry as a whole.
