Another airline is opening its doors to new cabin crew. Oman Air is now hiring cabin crew. Good news is, you don't need any experience! One thing though, this is only until July 31, 2018 so you better hurry up if you want to be an Oman Air flight attendant. Also, this is open to both female and male. For this though, you will be based in Muscat, Oman.
SilkAir is a full service regional airline and a subsidiary of Singapore Airlines. This July 26, they are having a cabin crew recruitment day to be held at the Changi Airport terminal 2, Singapore! So for Filipinos in Singapore who want to be cabin crew, you may want to take advantage of this. We also confirmed from SilkAir that his is open to all nationalities for as long as you pass the requirements.

Last July 17, 2018, Philippine Airlines held an event entitled "Breakthroughs and Milestones" which served as the official roll-out of the airline's newest aircraft, the Airbus A350-941 and Airbus A321-271NEO. It also coincided with Lucio Tan's 83rd birthday! This was held at the Lufthansa Technik Philippines hangar, in an enclosed airconditioned tent, right infront where the two new jets are displayed. Indeed, the acquisition of new generation jets with an enhanced cabin became another milestone for the airline.

It was a day everyone waited for. Philippine Airlines finally received its first of six ultra-long haul Airbus A350-941 jets just today. RP-C3501 landed in Manila at approximately around 3pm. This aircraft has a three-class configuration, business class, premium economy, and economy class. PAL fly this aircraft to Europe and to parts in North America, particularly the East Coast.

Good news to all aspiring cabin crew! FlyDubai is now hiring and will be based in Dubai! Based on the FlyDubai career page, it says "The Cabin Crew Member is responsible to the Senior Cabin Crew Member, working as part of the cabin crew team, taking individual responsibility for the cabin operation and the associated customer experience. The Cabin Crew Member is also responsible for the safe and consistent delivery of a quality onboard service in accordance with company and regulatory policies and procedures."
Even if air travel is deemed safe and every safety measure has been undertaken, accidents may still happen as airplanes are still man-made objects defying the laws of gravity and susceptible to nature's wrath. Anything can still happen especially during take off and landing. This is the reason why you have cabin crew members on board, so incase the unfortunate happens, they are able to get you off the ill-fated aircraft blemish free as much as possible in less than 90 seconds.
Just because we do not see a single airplane when we look out the aircraft window, it does not mean that we are alone. Some irate passengers would tell the crew "wag nyo kami bolahin na traffic sa ere" after they are told that the flight delay was caused by air traffic. What they do not know is there are thousands and thousands of airplanes flying at the same time. We just don't see them.
