From Saint Louis University Baguio graduation last January 2018 to March 2018 Qatar Airways Wings day. Hello to all aspiring cabin cew, call me Kathleen and walk with me on my journey from being a fresh college graduate to being a cabin crew. Are you ready? Go get your coffee, sit back, and relax.
It was just a random and chill afternoon when I saw the open day poster of Qatar Airways on Facebook so I immediately message my parents about it and of course my ever supportive parents were so excited about it. I was scared and in doubt. So many what if's mainly because I don't have work experience but I firmly believe that whatever it is that in my heart and I desire to happen, I will have to pray hard for it and claim, in His name that it will happen. I prepared all the requirements and I even bought all my outfits for open day, day 2, and til final interview not knowing if I could pass the first stage but then again, never forget this line “Claim it”. Prepared myself physically, emotionally, and mentally. December 9,2017 Qatar Airways Open day, I applied in high hopes that I would get the job and by His grace, I made it. Thank you to the Man above for I earned my wings at the age of 21. Age doesn’t really matter as long as you know your purpose, goal, and if you have the passion to turn your dream into reality.
God has been so good to me from the very start. I had a very smooth journey from open day, assessment, and medical until the surreal moment when I received the golden email.
The training wasn't that easy but He made it possible for me. I wouldn't be able to overcome everything without Him. He took away my worries and I was given strength to persevere.Thank you to my supportive family and loved ones for being my prayer warriors.
I’m now exploring the world, meeting different nationalities, learning different cultures, and investing my energy to growth. And to be recognized as brand ambassador for putting hardwork when demostrating the cabin crew objective is the best feeling ever.
Remember confidence, smile, walk with class, seat with poise, be yourself, and pray. These are the the things you need to bring for the open day. Nail that interview and get your wings. Fly with you soon. If you have any questions please feel free to message me.
