Philippine Airlines is set to make history again as it is set to launch it's non-stop Manila to New York flight utilizing it's newest fleet of Airbus A350-900. This means that passengers now have an option of flying straight to New York from Manila without having to make a stop-over in Vancouver. PR126 is set to launch on October 30 at 10:10pm. The flying time may take 15 up to 17:30 hours depending on the route.
PR126 will also be the longest non-stop flight from Manila in Philippine history, and this may be ranked as the 8th or 9th world's longest flight. To date, Philippine Airlines's longest flight is PR119 flying from Toronto to Manila utilizing a Boeing 777-300ER.
Whereas PAL flight 119 flies a distance of 8,221 miles, PR126 will fly 8,505 miles!
Philippine Airlines's Airbus A350-900 is the latest widebody aircraft in the PAL fleet. It could sit 295 passengers in a tri-class configuration. It is equiped with 30 full flat business class seats, 24 premium economy seats, and 241 economy seats, all equiped with individual entertainment systems and WiFi on board.
