There are a lot of people who want to be a flight attendant and steward in the future but getting inside the airline has been a great challenge for them. Airline standards are indeed high and indeed, one has to really be the cream of the crop to be one, the best of the best. It is not easy to become a cabin crew, and we do want to help our future generation of flight attendants and stewards.

It is never too late to be a cabin crew. A study shows that from 2019 to 2036, the world will need 914,000 airline cabin crew where 881,000 are from the commercial aviation industry and 33,000 will come from the business or general aviation. Out of that number, 327,000 will come from the Asia-Pacific region. This means that we will see more Asia-Pacific based airlines hire more cabin crew 17 years from now.
A Saudia cabin crew service van carrying flight attendants figured in an accident in Riyadh which took the life of one flight attendant as confirmed by Saudia Twitter account. Unconfirmed reports though have it that two died as a result of the accident, reporting that one is Flipina and the other is Tunisian. We still have to confirm if it is two or one. The other flight attendants on the van were reported injured.
Last June 29, PAL Express held a cabin crew recruitment event at its Manila office. This did not only draw in 1,540 wishfulls to be a cabin crew one day, but the line was around 521 meters long approximately that it had reached the PAL cargo area very close to NAIA terminal 3 and right across the rotunda! A video taken by a sender who requested for non-disclosure of his identity showed how long the line was!
