What??? Become a child again??? Yes, that is right! If you want to become a cabin crew, have that strong and burning desire to become one just like a child begging his dad and mom to buy him a toy. Remember those days when we were a little child, we would usually beg our parents to buy us a toy we truly want to have. We would do all until they would give us that toy.
Remember that time when we said "dad, mom, please buy me this toy." What would we do when they would say "no, I will not buy you that toy"? We would beg, we would cry, we would not stop until they would say yes. Sometimes, they would give us conditions in order for them to buy us that toy. "I will only buy you the toy if you clean your room." "I will buy you that if you finish the food in your plate." "I will get you that toy if you will remain good to your little brother and sister." What would we do? We would obey! We would do what they would tell us to do in exchange of that toy.
As you see, that is how it should be when you want to become a flight attendant. Some of you may get it in one shot, some may not. If you do not get it in one shot, be a kid again. Perhaps, the first rejection may simply mean "we will hire you only if you will smile all the time" or "we will only hire you of you prove to us that you have the traits and characteristics of a flight attendant", and just like a kid, the best thing to do is to really adjust and adapt to all the conditions, parameters, qualifications, and requirements to become a cabin crew. That is the price we pay for a dream so beautiful that many dream to be but only a few are chosen to take on the task.
So in times that you find it challenging to become a flight attendant, always think about those times when you did all just for your parents to buy you a toy. That is exactly the burning desire you need to have if you want to overcome all challenges and hurdles in becoming a cabin crew.
This is why I tell you, be a kid again. Do not stop until you attain what you want. This time the toy you want is to become a flight attendant, and your dad is God. As stated in my write-up yesterday, God will only hand you your uniform if He knows you are eligible to take on a role with great responsibilities.
So go, and pray to God our Father for your 'toy', and become a 'kid' once again!
Good luck future cabin crew!
