This was indeed our very first time to witness a Philippine Airlines flight purser graduation event and we are more than honored to have been invited. Held last December 10, 2018 at the PAL Learning Center Auditorium, this batch is a set of senior flight attendants who entered the airline in 1990 that are now flight pursers.
The occasion was actually a fun one, more fun than formal if you will ask us as it became a mini reunion of batch 90 and the other original batchmates of this set of new pursers. You could really see them cheering for their friend and former colleague, going up the stage, and really throwing their full support.
Usually, it is the mother or father of the cabin crew who pins the wings on their son or daughter during an initial cabin crew training graduation rite. For a flight purser graduation event, it is usually the husband, son, or daughter who pins the wings! Perhaps, we do sense a future generation of flight attendants and stewards from this group!
Below are more pictures and our VLOG coverage of our event. The VLOG is at the very bottom of this post and it is also available at Flyhigh Manila TV on YouTube. Complete set of pictures are on our Facebook page.
