A deaf passenger shares his experience with a PAL Express flight attendant after the latter used basic sign language in order to ask if the former wants water or coffee. The passenger who owns the viral video by the name of Kyle Fortaleza Haj, said that they were happily surprised that the flight attendant named Anita Generosa Ygona knows basic sign language.
Haj and his friend was on a flight from Cebu to Puerto Princessa. Based on his Facebook post, Haj said that the conversation went:
Generosa: Hello! Deaf? Do you wants some water or coffee drink?
Khalil: (Surprised) Yes both. Hello, do you know sign language.
Steph: who Deaf teach you learn sign language?
Generosa: Girlie, from dumaguete
Generosa: I am a Special Education Teacher
Generosa: nice to meet you both
Khalil: thanks, same you too
Steph: bye, take care.
